Laurent in Twilight?
i was just wondering why laurent is black in the movie. I'm not racist or anything but i thought all vampires were white because in eclipse doesn't jasper say that he met women that looked like they were mexican but still had pasty white skin.... so shouldn't Laurent have white skin too???

Well, here's the thing. Vampires were previously human. So, when an African American gets transformed, his skin should still be his own color, but it might be lighter than before because they don't have blood...
So, not all vampires are white. ANYBODY could have been transformed.
Does that make any sense?
