The Temple of Great Compassion - a relic of Tianjin's Buddhist heritage
Tianjin is one of China's fastest growing industrial metropolises that still has yet to come out of its charming reverie of dreamy reminiscences and embrace the cosmopolitan modernity of its sibling cities. However, Tianjin doesn't necessarily have to leave its little retro bubble to attract the notice of international tourists; the city's history of foreign occupation and indigenous heritage has become a great tourist draw of recent years, not in small part due to its wealth of well-preserved architectural gems such as the Temple of Great Compassion.
This temple is a Zen Buddhist construction of the Shunzi period Qing dynasty, carrying a legacy of over 300 years. It was once the famous final resting place of venerated Buddhist monk Xuanzang and held a sacred relic in the form of his skull. This was later gifted to India in the 1950s and in its place was substituted an image of the monk which is now used for prayers and devotions. The temple, which is located mere minutes away from the Tianjin train station, comprises of two monasteries: the old monastery last refurbished by the Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty which includes the Cultural Relic Hall, Chinese Buddhism Association offices and abbot hall, and the more recently added new monastery which consists of four halls and an entrance gate. These four halls are the Main Shrine Hall, which also goes by the name of Daxiong Temple and is the principal building of the complex; the Tianwang Hall, Dabei Hall and Xuanzang's Memorial Hall. The Main Shrine is also notable for the six ton statue of Sakyamuni carved upon a lotus throne flanked by a retinue of smaller Buddha figures as well as the 12 foot mud statue called "Thousand Hand Kwan-Yin" which is housed there. The Cultural Relic Palace of the old monastery is also a must-see as it features a collection of Buddha statues made from a variety of stones and metals.
This temple can be easily accessed by a visitor staying at a central business hotel Tianjin close to the city centre. Raffles Tianjin in particular is a well-known landmark luxury hotel Tianjin which sits atop the Tianjin centre in the midst of Heping District, affording prime access to all the city's commercial and historical venues.

The will of the American people to regain their power? Forecasts for 2008
I simply can not help but wonder about future. Everyone seems to be interested. I guess they wired human nature to want to know what's coming down the line. Although I understand now that we have a great capacity to influence the future, always looking around online for any new predictions verify.
I'm not psychic, but I'm working on a number of years. In general, do not ask Marjorie (or Kwan Yin, as channeled through it) on forecasts, but how I would describe the energy of the near future. Not even asking questions about the distant future, because there are so many variables that things can change radically.
For example, if someone followed Edgar Cayce predictions of their time in years 1930, you see that many things in the short term, but for the radical changes that the earth was supposed to happen in the 90s and 2000 and has never occurred. This applies to Nostradamus and many others. This just goes to show how we can influence the future through our actions. Just remember that: these things can still happen yet spake, but in a different time period and to a lesser extent.
When I ask issues in 2000, Kwan Yin began after 2012, giving a word for each year. Unfortunately, I could not include in the book, she not asked for their own reasons, and I always respect the desire Ascended Masters (or desires privacy of any person).
When you get to 2008, said it would be a disaster "great". At that time, seemed so far I just let go. On a few years ago, I asked about it again and told me I had to do with political issues. But not that. I thought there was always kind of political maneuvering underway.

However, all the changes and complexity, Kwan Yin advice, as always: to live simply, simplify your life. Living near the earth, nature, and take time to meditate. Since we feel that time escapes us and stand behind everything we feel we have to do, we are asked to do less, not more.
In doing so, we connect with ourselves and with God in a way that will lead a new life, a life where what we need now is free and the details and plans are not really necessary. As we do, we let up at the entrance of the Spirit in our lives, co-create a beautiful life full of synchronicity, love and peace. And that's the future I want. I hope we will all be together.
