If I think I found precious stone or rock who can I take it to confirm this .?
Is there an organisation, association or any body that is prepare to have a look at this things.
If you have a local college there should be someone in the science building that can identify your stone. We have a place called the Rock Shop locally that the owner can identify it for you ... look for a hobby shop or even possibly a jeweler.
